McCutchen Wins Voting Contest To Be On "MLB 13 The Show" Cover
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Pirates' center fielder Andrew McCutchen will be appearing on the cover of an MLB video game thanks to the power of social media.
Tweets and Facebook posts helped McCutchen secure the most votes in a contest to be on the cover of "MLB 13 The Show," which is a game for Playstation.
He got 108,000 votes, beating the second place guy by 20,000.
On Twitter, McCutchen thanked the fans who voted.
He said in part: "I can only promise all of you that I am going to continue to work my hardest to prove that you made the right choice and help bring the World Series trophy back to Pittsburgh."
