Man Sentenced In Wash. Co. Double Murder

WASHINGTON, Pa. (KDKA) - A man convicted of killing two people in Washington County was sentenced during an emotional hearing.

Terrance Graham, 35, of Bentleyville, was charged in the deaths of 25-year-old Lynna Flippen and 31-year-old Ernest Yarbough.

Graham told KDKA-TV's Harold Hayes before the sentencing, and the judge during sentencing that he had nothing to do with the murders.

Graham: "They convicted a man with Caucasian DNA on the scene."

Harold Hayes: "Wasn't you?"

Graham: "Wasn't me. If you give me a business card, I'll send you the information."

The judge told Graham he can't fathom how he could say such a thing. He recalled the victims' were beaten with a pipe in Flippen's Ellsworth home and dragged into a car where they were shot.

Their bodies were found in a remote section of Fallowfield Township. Yarbough's body was in the truck of a car.

"I had nothing to do with this," Graham told reporters.

The victims' families gave emotional impact statements and said Graham's claims of innocence come from "a monster."

"Lynna was not around [anybody] like that to be murdered like that," Kathleen Jones, Flippen's mother, said. "Nobody would have done anything like that to Lynna. He's the only one – the only one."

"I just thank God. I praise Him and I thank Him that this inhumane person will never ever see day, that he will spend the rest of his life in jail," Karen Yarbough Cabbell, Ernest's mother, said.

Graham was sentenced to two consecutive life terms without the possibility of parole.
