Man Pinned Under Vehicle In Mercer County Accident
MERCER COUNTY (KDKA) -- A man was pinned under a vehicle after a roll-over accident in Mercer County on Wednesday night.
State police say that a 30-year-old woman was driving along Scrubgrass Road near Crill School Road around 10:10 p.m. Wednesday night. A 31-year-old man was in the vehicle with her.
According to police, the driver was going around a curve to the left of the road as another vehicle was coming toward her in the opposite direction. The driver felt the other vehicle was in her lane, so she swerved to the left, causing her to lose control of her vehicle.
The vehicle left the right side of the road and rolled after hitting an embankment. State police say neither the driver nor the passenger were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.

The passenger was ejected from the vehicle, which came to rest on its right side on top of the passenger's upper torso. State police say the driver climbed out of the car and, with the help of passersby, pushed on the car to relieve some of the pressure on the passenger.
Crews with the East End Volunteer Fire Department removed the passenger from underneath the vehicle. The passenger was then sent to Grove City Hospital with a suspected serious injury.
His current condition is unknown.
