Man Flees Scene Of Parkway West Crash
CARNEGIE (KDKA) – A man is in the hospital after fleeing the scene of an accident on the Parkway West Wednesday morning.
According to police, the accident happened on the outbound side of the road near Carnegie around 3:30 a.m.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found a Lexus on its roof, but the driver was nowhere to be found.
A witness said she saw the Lexus speed by her, cut off a tractor-trailer and then roll over.
A short time later, a Carnegie Police officer spotted a man walking along East Main Street in Carnegie.
The man attempted to hide between two houses and was identified as the missing driver.
He was taken to Allegheny General Hospital and no charges have been filed at this time,
Police are at the hospital and blood tests are expected to be taken.
