Man Dead After Parkway East Accident
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- One man is dead following an accident on the Parkway East late this morning near the Squirrel Hill Tunnels.
State police identify the victim as 60-year-old William Callan of Pittsburgh.
The crash happened on the eastbound side of the road just before the tunnels.
According to state police, Callan lost control of his vehicle and slammed into the center cement barrier.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
It's not know what caused him to lose control of his vehicle or if he died from injuries in the crash or from a medical condition.
State police continue to investigate the accident.
