Man Critically Injured In Hill District Shooting
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Police are investigating after a man was shot in the mouth Monday evening in the Hill District.
The shooting happened after 8 p.m. in the 800-block of Bryn Mawr Road and Camp Street in the Upper Hill section of the neighborhood.
"When our officers arrived at the scene of the home, he was coming out with blood coming out of his mouth from the gunshot wound," Pittsburgh Police Spokeswoman Sonya Toler said.
Officials say the 20-year-old victim was taken to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in critical condition, but stable condition.
Police say there were three people in the house when the victim was shot. All have been questioned, but no one has been arrested.
"Once our officers have a better opportunity to question him, maybe we will have a better picture of what exactly happened," Toler said.
Pittsburgh Police continue to investigate.
