Man Charged In Fatal Lawrenceville Shooting
LAWRENCEVILLE (KDKA) – A man from the Hill District has been charged in connection with a fatal shooting in Lawrenceville.
According to our news partners at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, 29-year-old Martell Herriott was arraigned on one count of homicide Saturday night.
Herriott is accused of fatally shooting 34-year-old Sean Thompson on June 30.
According to police, Thompson was found lying on the sidewalk in the 5200-block of Keystone Street around 1:30 a.m.
Paramedics treated him at the scene, and transported him to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
