Man Charged In Fatal Hit & Run Waives Hearing
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- A man facing charges in a fatal hit-and-run in McKeesport was in court today for a hearing.
The suspect's attorney says his client never intended to hit anyone, and thought he had hit a deer.
Seth Denne, 21, waived his right to a preliminary hearing this morning.
He faces several charges including homicide by vehicle and involuntary manslaughter in the death of 27-year-old Bruce Babyak of Versailles.
Babyak's body was found along Eden Park Boulevard in McKeesport last week.
The accident was caught on video by a surveillance camera on a local business.
Denne said he thought he hit a deer when he apparently struck Babyak.
