Man Busted For Drugs During Routine Traffic Stop
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Police uncovered a large amount of drugs and cash during a routine traffic stop in Washington County.
Police say Thursday afternoon, officers pulled over a car for a moving violation on Interstate 70 in South Strabane Township.
They say the driver, 23-year-old Charles Shider of Belle Vernon, was driving with a suspended license.
Police also say they found Shider with more than 850 packs of heroin, marijuana, Xanax and nearly $8,000 in cash.
Shider was taken to the Washington County Prison and is being held on a $25,000 cash bond.
