Man Arrested In Connection With Dairy Queen Robbery
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – A man has been arrested in connection with an attempted robbery of a Dairy Queen in Washington County.
According to police, 28-year-old James Benitto was arrested on Tuesday.
Police were investigating after the Dairy Queen on Route 88 in Union Township was robbed over the weekend.
Benitto is being charged with aggravated assault, criminal attempt of robbery, terroristic threats and recklessly endangering another person. He is also facing weapons and drug charges.
He has been arraigned and was placed in the Washington County Jail in lieu of $250,000 straight bail.
A woman, 28-year-old Michele Mueller, was also charged with criminal conspiracy to commit robbery.
