Man Arrested In Arnold Hit-And-Run
ARNOLD (KDKA) -- Police arrested a man after a 12-year-old girl injured in a hit-and-run accident over Memorial Day weekend.
Robert Windsor, 26, of Verona, is accused of hitting the girl after running a red light at the intersection of Fifth Avenue and 14th Street in Arnold.
Police made an arrest based on evidence left behind in the vehicle and through a photo lineup.
Also, Windsor's girlfriend lives in the 1100-block of Fifth Avenue – not far from the accident scene.
The 12-year-old victim survived the crash, but suffered several injuries, including a hairline fracture to her spine and pelvic damage.
