Man Arrested After Attempted Oakland Burglary
OAKLAND (KDKA) - A man was taken into custody after being accused of breaking into a home in Oakland Tuesday night.
According to police, the man tried to break into a home on Niagara Street around 8 p.m.
Around midnight, police cornered the suspect near Kenneth Square. Police used a Taser to subdue him to take him into custody.
He is currently being held at the Allegheny County Jail and is charged with attempted burglary.
One officer suffered an injury to his leg, but was treated at the scene and is expected to be okay.
The suspect's name has not been released at this time.
