PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- The price of lumber is continuing to soar.

As wood mills try to catch up following pandemic shutdowns, demand is skyrocketing.

Industry experts say lumber prices have added nearly $36,000 to the average price of a new single-family home.

Some suppliers say they can't keep certain products in stock.
