Love In The Air At Schenley Park Ice Rink
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - Love was in the air Sunday at the Schenley Park skating rink.
Hundreds of couples skated to romantic music and posed for a sweetheart photo.
Roses and sweets were handed out and one lucky couple won a night at the Wyndham and dinner at the Porch at Schenley.
For one couple, the Valentine's Day skate allowed them to relive a very special night.
"Two years ago on this day right here, Russell, who is now my darling husband, proposed to me," Amanda Neatrour said.
"About 400 people that night and I proposed over by the archway of balloons," Russell Neatrour said.
"He got down on one knee on the ice. To this day, we still hold, as of now, the distinction of still being the only couple to become engaged at this event," Amanda said.
The couple will celebrate their first wedding anniversary is in April.
