Local Man Accused Of Assaulting Walmart Employee
EAST HUNTINGDON (KDKA) -- A local man is accused of assaulting a Walmart employee in Westmoreland County.
The man ran over a Walmart employee's foot then backed over it a second time after that employee caught him committing lewd acts in the parking lot.
This all happened Jan. 5 at the East Huntingdon Walmart around 2 p.m.
Police say 69-year-old Ronald Shaffer was pleasuring himself in the parking lot when he was spotted by an employee.
The employee recognized Shaffer as having committed similar acts in the past and wrote down his license plate number.
When Shaffer realized what was happening, he lashed out at the employee.
State Police Trooper Steve Limani says Shaffer faces charges of aggravated assault, simple assault and open lewdness.
