Local Groomers Helping Gulf Coast Cleanup
K-9 Kingdom in Wexford is helping the oil slick cleanup in the Gulf Coast by sending dog hair.
Christin Bummer, owner of K-9 Kingdom, tells KDKA that groomers there will be collecting the discarded hair from all of the dogs they groom this weekend and donate it to Matter of Trust, a company that makes tools for oil spill cleanups using dog hair.
