Long-Lost Brothers Reunited After 59 Years Apart
MCKEESPORT (KDKA) -- It's a family reunion like you have never seen. Two brothers find each other after 59 years.
"He was a baby and I was 6-years-old and we were separated in the juvenile court system," John Mueller said.
With more than half a century gone between the brothers, there were a lot of hugs and kisses to catch up on.
John Mueller, 65, and his 59-year-old brother, Harold Miller, were placed in separate foster homes when it was determined their mother, who was an alcoholic, was unable to care for them.
Mueller ended up in McKees Rocks, Miller in Gibsonia. Mueller said he just knew he had to find his brother.
Finally, he did.

Mueller, who now lives in Tennessee, said he began searching in 1970.
He told KDKA's Brenda Waters he had the help of an angel in Allegheny County and one in his wife, Judy.
"We've been married 11 years; Sunday was 11 years," Judy said. "I told him, 'I can't give you children; we are too old for that. But I make a promise to you, we're gonna find your brother.'"
The brothers met for the first time earlier this week at Miller's home in McKeesport. Harold Miller was brought to tears.
"I never knew somebody was looking for me. It's a good feeling, glad somebody didn't quit," he said.
When Miller goes to visit his brother in Ashland City, Tennessee, the sheriff there will shut down the town and have a parade for the brothers.
"John is complete now. I am complete, totally complete, now that I know I have found him and my quest is over," Miller said.
