Shooting Victim Found Dead In Lincoln-Lemington Apartment

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Police are looking for a gunman after a man was found fatally shot Monday night inside an apartment building in the city's Lincoln-Lemington neighborhood.
The gunfire rang out just after 7 p.m. in the 7200 block of Everton Street.
Pittsburgh Police found the victim in the hallway area of the basement. They believe he was shot in the head.
Family was very emotional when they found out that their loved one was shot and killed. They gathered around the shooting scene as police were combing the area for evidence.

It's unclear if anyone else was in the building besides the victim when police got to the scene.
"At approximately 7:15 this evening, Zone 5 police were called to the 7200 block of Everton Street for a shooting. Upon arrival, they discovered one male suffering from gunshot wound located in the basement of that building," said Pittsburgh Public Safety Spokesperson Alicia George.
Police don't have any information on suspects right now. If you have any information, you're being asked to call Pittsburgh Police.
The Allegheny County Medical Examiner's Office has not released the identity of the victim yet.
