Fire Prompts Evacuations At Library In Homewood
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- The Homewood branch of the Carnegie Library was evacuated this morning after the building filled with smoke.
Officials say a worker was using paint thinner on a window sill and it caught on fire.
The building on Hamilton Avenue filled with smoke.
About 20 people were evacuated.
Firefighters aired out the building and everyone was allowed back inside.
