Lawrence Co. Crash Kills 1
NORTH BEAVER TOWNSHIP (KDKA) – One person was killed in a Saturday morning crash in Lawrence County.
According to police, the accident happened on Interstate 376 in North Beaver Township around 11:15 a.m.
A car traveling east stopped in the right lane and was hit from behind by a tractor-trailer. The car struck a guardrail and rolled over three times.
The driver of the car, 78-year-old Thomas Hughes, was killed in the crash. Hughes was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.
The truck driver was not injured.
