Larry Foote Shares Draft Strategy If Steelers Trade Ben Roethlisberger
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) - The Larry Foote Show kicks off live from Monte Cello's as the Steelers linebacker covers a wide variety of topics with host Andrew Fillipponi.
The talk since the Steelers win over the Buffalo Bills has been the future of quarterback Ben Roethlisberger after a report surfaced that Roethlisberger was so unhappy that he was looking for a trade out of town.
Even though the Steelers signal caller has since refuted this report, the situation does lead to some interesting hypothetical situations that Foote explored.
The Steelers without Roethlisberger is a scary thought for Foote, but any deal to ship him out of town would have to include at least one high draft pick in return.
Foote would probably choose the best quarterback available but he is not buying the hype surrounding possible top overall draft pick 4-3 defensive end Jadeveon Clowney.
About Clowney, Foote maintains, "He's not as good as people think."
Foote continues, "To be a great pass rusher in this league, you can't be a one trick pony."
