Mount Lebanon Police say the online posting originated from a juvenile male in the Green Tree area. It was posted online through a YouTube Live stream.
Deputy Chief Jason Haberman, from the Mt. Lebanon Police Department, said, "It was a specific threat. At which point, again, we will go into that later, but at this point, we aren't releasing what the specific threat was."
Once district officials learned of the threat, shortly after 1 a.m. Tuesday, the decision was made to cancel classes at all Keystone Oaks Schools.

In a message posted to their website, and sent to parents and families, the district says in part:
"The Keystone Oaks School District will be closed today, Tuesday, February 19, 2019, due to a threat that was reported to the District."
"I think it's right," said Anita Steele, of Dormont. "They should close the school if it's that bad."
Police say no one else is believed to be involved in the incident, and there are no other threats against the district.
The teen will be charged with terroristic threats, and is in police custody.
Mount Lebanon and Green Tree police departments, along with the FBI assisted in the investigation.
A release from the Keystone Oaks District reads, in part, "[The student] admitted posting the threat, and also indicated that they never intended to harm anyone. The safety of our students and staff is the district's number one priority, and we do not take these situations lightly."
Pre-scheduled afternoon activities in the district will continue as planned.
