Kesha To Headline 2016 "Pride In The Street" Celebration
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- The Delta Foundation of Pittsburgh on Wednesday announced the headliner of this year's Pittsburgh Pride celebration.
Kesha will be coming to town this June to perform at the annual "Pride in the Street" event.
This year's celebration is scheduled for Saturday, June 11,, on Liberty Avenue in Downtown Pittsburgh.
The singer is an advocate and sings such hits as "TiK ToK," "Timber" and "We R Who We R."
In a press release, Delta Foundation President Gary Van Horn says: "Kesha has used her influence and international platform to bring attention to the challenges faced by women and the LGBT community. We are thrilled to bring her to Pride in the Street this year, and we know that Pittsburgh's LGBT community and allies will be excited to welcome her."
