Homicide Victims' Families Pleased With Guilty Verdict
WASHINGTON (KDKA) – A man accused of killing two people in Washington County was found guilty on all counts Tuesday night.
Terrence Graham, 35, of Bentleyville, was charged in the deaths of 25-year-old Lynna Flippen and 31-year-old Ernest Yarbough.
"We're pleased with the verdict," Assistant Washington County District Attorney Mike Lucas said. "We think it's the appropriate verdict. It was a fair, just and right verdict."
An elderly man found an abandoned car with both bodies inside near his home in Fallowfield Township in May of 2010.
According to police, Yarbough was with Flippen when Graham confronted them. DNA and blood splatter experts testified there was a bloody trail inside Flippen's house, indicating both victims experienced violent deaths.
"That was my baby girl," Flippen's mother said. "That was my baby. That was the only one I had left – my daughter. He took her life and he took Ernest's life."
"Justice was served," she added.
Graham was found guilty on two counts of criminal homicide, tampering with physical evidence and related drug charges.
He faces the possibility of life in prison. Graham will be sentenced in July.
