Judge Dismisses Some Charges Against 2 In Overdose Death
BEAVER, Pa. (AP) - A judge has dismissed involuntary manslaughter and evidence tampering charges against two men in connection with the overdose death of a high school student last year.
The Beaver County Times reports that a Beaver County judge dismissed the counts against 19-year-old Noah Lalama and 18-year-old Terell Shelton in the death of 17-year-old Dominisk Treemarchi of Monaca.
The defendants and two juveniles were also charged with reckless endangerment in Treemarchi's death in December days before he was to play in Central Valley High's PIAA Class AAA football championship game. His death was attributed to a combination of heroin and Xanax.
Drug delivery charges remain against 41-year-old Danielle Hrelec and 20-year-old Brandi Spohn, who are accused of selling Treemarchi 17 Xanax pills but aren't charged with having caused his death.
