Josh Cribbs Is Against NFL Rule Changes
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) -- Cleveland Browns Kick Return Specialist Josh Cribbs joined Seibel, Starkey, and Miller on SportsRadio 93-7 The FAN and discussed the recent NFL rule changes and how it will affect the league.
Josh was surprised that there weren't other options discussed before making such a drastic change from kicking off at the 30-yard line to the 35-yard line since he didn't believe this was just done for the safety of the game like the league is claiming.
Josh said he wished the players would have had more input into the rule change given that nobody knows how to make the game safer than them. Given how quickly this new rule was made, Josh said he doesn't see it lasting more than just one season once the league sees the results of it.
Josh also addressed the Adrian Peterson comments comparing what's going on in the NFL to slavery and said he agrees to a point with Peterson in that the league owns the players, but where he disagrees with Peterson is that the players can walk away whenever they want to.
