4 Men Charged In Armed Robberies, Shooting Near IUP
INDIANA, Pa. (KDKA) -- Four men are facing charges stemming from a robbery and shooting near IUP.
According to police, the four intended to rob a house for drugs and money, but it started out with them going to the wrong home.
Around 8 Valentine's Day night, police say three of the suspects tried to rob at gunpoint the people in 835 Wayne Ave. The fourth suspect was the driver. One male resident was hit in the head and the suspects took off with electronics.
Investigators say the suspects then went to the intended house of 841 Wayne Ave. That's where a fight happened and one male resident was shot in the neck.

Police say the three robbery suspects and their driver took off. Video was used to track their vehicle in the days that followed.
Thirteen search warrants were executed and four people, all from the Philadelphia area, were taken into custody: 23-year-old Nafis Harper, 20-year-old Mamadi Saccoh, 20-year-old Samuel Wilson and 19-year-old Daron Reel Jr.
Reel, Harper and Saccoh are IUP students who face disciplinary actions in addition to court.
The charges include robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery and conspiracy to commit aggravated assault.
Police say all six victims had non-life threatening injuries.
All the suspects are facing several charges, including robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery and conspiracy to commit aggravated assault.
In addition, Reel is facing attempted criminal homicide. All four men are in the Indiana county jail.
