Is This Andrew McCutchen's Pay Stub?

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – If you've ever wondered what the paycheck of a professional athlete looks like, the Internet may have just come through for you.

A picture making the rounds on Twitter and other social media websites appears to show a found pay stub for Pirates superstar Andrew McCutchen.

The stub shows a direct deposit of over $400,000 for the two-week pay period from May 1-15.

McCutchen addressed the situation in the locker room today before Friday's game.

"Am I mad? I don't like that my personal information is out there, but I guess next time, I'll make sure that I have my stub on me and it's not in my locker and someone can get a hold of it, I guess," said McCutchen.

"You can't let your guard down regardless of where you are, even if you're in a clubhouse. People have ulterior motives, you don't know," he added. "I ain't too worried. It's no surprise what I make, but it is a surprise, I'm sure, for people all those taxes that get taken out."

In 2012, McCutchen signed a six year, $51.5 million extension with the Pirates.

The stub was allegedly found at Wrigley Field and the picture was posted Thursday night.

The Pirates played a three-game series in Chicago last weekend.
