Injury Report: Harrison Hopeful For Sunday
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) — Steelers linebacker James Harrison is hopeful he'll return to the Steelers starting lineup Sunday against Baltimore, but said he won't be foolish.
Harrison has been cleared to practice but not yet cleared to play. He said he'll follow any orders doctors give him, as he's set to be evaluated at the end of the week to determine his playing status.
Quite simply, Harrison said "I've only got two eyes," and "I'm not messing with my vision."
Harrison appears to be the most healthy of the Steelers three injured starting linebackers. Neither Lamarr Woodley (hamstring) or James Farrior (calf) were made available for comment after Wednesday's practice.
Harrison, Woodley and Farrior along with wide receiver Hines Ward (ankle) and tackle Jonathan Scott (ankle) were limited in practice Wednesday. Guard Doug Legursky (toe) and wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders (knee/personal) did not practice.
