Injured Doctor Urges Hit-And-Run Driver To Come Forward

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- One of the doctors injured in Monday morning's hit-and-run in Highland Park is urging the driver to come forward.

Dr. Jonathan Finder, a pulmonologist at Children's Hospital, suffered severe facial injuries while riding his bicycle along Butler Street.

His friend, psychologist Dr. Robert Noll, was critically injured when a gold sedan clipped his bike.

Dr. Finder flipped over the wreckage.

"There had to be some explanation as to why this person would leave two injured unconscious cyclists, you know, potentially to die in the road," he told KDKA-TV.

Finder says Noll faces a 10-hour surgery on Thursday. He has several broken bones and a collapsed lung.
