Fatal Crash Shuts Down Saxonburg Blvd. In Indiana Twp.

INDIANA TOWNSHIP (KDKA) -- A fatal crash shut down a road in Indiana Township on Sunday.
It happened just before 9 p.m. on Saxonburg Boulevard near Campbell Road.
Indiana Township Police Sgt. Steve Colucci says when officers arrived on the scene, they found the male driver had been ejected from the vehicle.
"He was negotiating a turn to the right of the roadway and at this point in time the investigation is ongoing. It's undetermined how many times the vehicle rolled," said Sgt. Colucci.
He was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim has been identified as 61-year-old Douglas Bertha, Sr. of Tarentum.
UPDATE: Authorities have released the name of the man who died in a single vehicle accident last night. Police say Douglas Bertha, Sr., 61, of Tarentum, was pronounced dead on the scene around 9pm after his vehicle lost control on Saxonburg Blvd. and rolled several times. @KDKA

The cause of the crash is unknown at this time. According to the preliminary investigation, speed may have been a factor.
Saxonburg Boulevard was shut down while crews investigated and cleared the scene, but has since reopened to traffic.
