According to state police, a 26-year-old Altoona woman was driving her Ford E-350 westbound when it crossed into the eastbound lane and hit a Ford Fiesta head-on.
The driver of the Ford Fiesta, 55-year-old Douglas Chris Craig, of South Bend Township in Armstrong County, was trapped in his vehicle. Indiana Fire Association firefighters extricated Craig from the vehicle, but he suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
