Indiana Co. DA Investigating Possible Theft At Local Fire Department

INDIANA COUNTY (KDKA) -- The Indiana County District Attorney's Office is investigating allegations of theft at the Coral Graceton Fire Department.

The investigation was launched after a letter was received alleging that a member of the department stole thousands of dollars in bingo proceeds.

State police will conduct an audit to determine if money is in fact missing.

If so, they will then work to determine who stole it.

The alleged amounts ranged from thousands to more than $100,000.

The fire chief and second assistant declined to comment on the investigation.
