Idol Finalist Adam Lambert Gets Serious On The Afternoon News
PITTSBURGH (NewsRadio 1020 KDKA) - It's Pride Week in Pittsburgh.
The Delta Foundation has been working hard to make sure the City of Pittsburgh has a week to remember. Events include parades, bar crawls and a concert by American Idol finalist, Adam Lambert.
Lambert took time out of his day to talk with KDKA Radio's Joe DeStio about the LGBT community and what it means to him to be a voice for them.
Some of Lambert's concerts and appearances around the world have been protested due to his views.
When DeStio asked him how that affected him, Lambert offered a little secret, "Just between me and you, I think it's a little bit fun."
Lambert goes on to say he wants to live his life how he wants to and not worry about what other people think.
Lambert will be headlining the "Pride in the Street Festival" on Saturday. Tickets are on sale now, as well as at the door.
