The area was closed for several hours.
Police say the tractor-trailer driver lost control of the vehicle while taking a drink of water. The vehicle truck several barriers and the trailer portion flipped onto its side.
This is the second accident to close I-70 in Washington County today. Another crash happened between the Kammerer and Dunningsville exits around 4:30 a.m.
