Husband Drops Charges Against Wife In Box Cutter Attack Case
NEW CASTLE (KDKA) - A man has dropped the charges against his wife after she sliced him in the groin with a box cutter.
According to the criminal complaint, Lisa Jones-Orock, 39, of Ellwood City, was facing charges stemming from an altercation inside their apartment on Sankey Street earlier this month.
Jones-Orock initially told police her husband, Gerald Orock, attacked her with a knife. As a result, he was briefly taken into custody.
After being taken to the New Castle Police Department, Gerald told police his wife tried to cut his penis off with a box cutter.
His pants were cut in the crotch area and he had cuts to his arms and hands. Police determined the wounds were defensive in nature.
As a result, his wife was taken into custody.
She was facing a list of charges including, aggravated assault, simple assault, possession of marijuana and harassment.
Since her husband dropped the charges this morning, the case is now over.
