Houston Tops The Bucs 4-3

The Pirates fell to the Astros, 4-3 Friday night, despite a two run homer from Garrett Jones.

Jones' 7th inning homer ended a streak of 25 scoreless innings for Pittsburgh, fresh off a franchise record 20-0 lambasting by Milwaukee on Thursday.  Jeff Clement also homered for the Pirates.

Houston pitcher Roy Oswalt tossed 4 strikeouts, moving him into second place on their all-time strikeout list.
