Homewood Shooting Leaves 2 Injured, Intersection Closed
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – The N. Homewood and Frankstown avenues intersection is shut down as police investigate a shooting that happened this afternoon.
It happened around 3 p.m. near the Homewood Stop Market.
Initial reports indicate that a dozen shots were fired, leaving a 19-year-old male and another person injured.
The 19-year-old is said to have been shot in the leg and reportedly refusing treatment. The other victim is said to have sustained an eye injury from glass.
