Hill District Murder Suspect Sought
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Pittsburgh police are searching for their prime suspect in a murder investigation in the Hill District.
According to authorities, five people were sitting inside a parked car on Lombard Street early Sunday morning when two men approached the vehicle. Police say one of the suspects opened fire, killing a 24-year-old man.
The victim has been identified as Ronald Washington.
The shooting also injured a 20-year-old woman. She is recovering at UPMC Mercy Hospital from gunshot wounds to her thighs and wrist.
According to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, the suspect is described as an African-American man, about 5'10", 180-pounds, with a thin build and a goatee.
