Hershey's CEO Hopes People Will Still Go Trick-Or-Treating This Halloween
HERSHEY, Pa. (KDKA) -- The coronavirus pandemic is not dampening Hershey's optimism about Halloween.
The holiday accounts for about 10 percent of the company's annual sales. Its CEO told investors that she hopes people will still find a way to go trick-or-treating.
Hershey's backup plan is making less themed candy and promoting products people typically buy for themselves.
