Heroin, Firearms Recovered During North Side Drug Bust
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Police recovered several firearms, as well as numerous packages of heroin and other drugs during a bust on the North Side Friday.
Police say many neighbors near an apartment complex in the 200-block of E. Ohio Street had complained about heavy foot traffic and suspected drug dealing at one of the apartments.
While the apartment was under surveillance, police say they say several black males, who were not residents, arrive at the apartment, stay for a few minutes and leave.
After finding a garbage bag outside of the apartment containing drug content, police obtained a search warrant. They then found 39 bricks and 301 bags of heroin, five bags of marijuana, a bag of ecstasy pills, a 40-calibur pistol, Marlin rifle and Stevens Arm junior rifle, in addition to ammunition.
The resident, 22-year-old Nekita Little, was taken into custody and transported to the Allegheny County Jail.
Police are still looking for Albert Walker who also lives at the home. Police have a warrant out for Walker, who last February pleaded guilty to his second possession charge.
