Help The Food Bank Win An SUV!

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Calling all Facebook users: You can help the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank win a brand new Toyota Highlander hybrid!

The food bank is competing with four other non-profits from around the country for votes on Facebook. The organization that gets the most votes today wins the vehicle.

It's all part of Toyota's "100 Cars for Good" campaign. The automaker says it "wants to salute do-gooders by giving 100 cars over 100 days to nonprofits that could really use a new set of wheels."

All you have to do is log in to Facebook today, go to apps.facebook.com/carsforgood and vote for the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank! Help spread the word and ask your other Facebook friends to do the same!

The food bank serves 11 counties across southwestern Pennsylvania -- including many rural areas.

Pleading their case on Facebook, the group explains how they would use the new vehicle. "Our outreach team, nutritionists, fundraisers, and other team members travel often to these outlying areas - many times over rough roads or through snow and ice. A vehicle like the Toyota Highlander would make their travels easier and safer as they journey to rural areas to provide information, training, and resources to our network."

The group goes on to say that the hybrid would also help them "remain as financially efficient as possible by cutting down on gas usage."

The voting is only open today, so you have until midnight to cast your ballot!
