"Head Games" Director Talks About Pittsburgh Premiere
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) -- "Head Games," a revealing documentary about the silent concussion crisis in American sports, has its Pittsburgh debut tonight at the Harris Theater. With that in mind, its director, Steve James, joined The Fan Morning Show to chat about the film.
Inspired by events from the book 'Head Games' written by former Ivy League football player and WWE wrestler Christopher Nowinski, the film contrasts eye-opening evidence and cutting-edge science on head trauma from the nation's leading medical experts with first-hand accounts from the athletes, coaches and parents who must tread the difficult balance between sports excellence and basic self-preservation.
More information about the film can be found at its official website: www.headgamesthefilm.com
