Harrison Surgery Rescheduled For Next Monday
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker James Harrison tweeted yesterday that he was running a fever and too sick to have surgery. He is now scheduled to have shoulder surgery next Monday.
Harrison's agent, Bill Parise, told our news partners at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette that the surgery Harrison is undergoing, is "very routine."
He also told the Post-Gazette that Harrison should resume training in four-to-six weeks after the surgery is performed.
Harrison played in all 16 games this season and recorded 100 tackles, 10.5 sacks, six forced fumbles and two interceptions.
Harrison was also fined $100,000 this season by the NFL for illegal hits.
