Gregg Giannotti & Jonathan Sanchez Engage In Mini Twitter War
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) -- Jonathan Sanchez let down Pirates fans early and often in the 2013 season, putting up an 0-3 record and 11.85 ERA in four starts after being acquired over the offseason. He was harshly criticized night in and night out by Pittsburgh fans and media alike up until his release in May, but now, over two months later, he's starting to fire back a bit.
The Fan Morning Show's Gregg Giannotti was one of Sanchez's biggest detractors, frequently taking jabs at Sanchez, particularly in regards to Sanchez's penchant for taking "selfies" on Twitter, such as these:

Sanchez's extremely poor performance put him at the center of many jokes, even after his departure. This was especially true Monday night, when many tweeters joked that Sanchez should pitch to the Bucs' Pedro Alvarez in the Home Run Derby.
Giannotti got in on the fun when one of those fans tweeted him. But to his surprise, when he woke up the next morning, Sanchez had taken a shot at him.
@937Giannotti@house068 I'm Blessed by God. Sorry that u guys can't to what I do for leaving.....Good Morning

Giannotti wasn't quite sure what Sanchez meant, and he voiced his confusion on The McDonald's Wake Up Show.
@jonathan_57 Good morning to you too but...What??

Sanchez Talk On Wake Up Show 1
Sanchez then responded to Giannotti, who came right back at him and had a laugh about it on air.
