Graham Named Player Of Week
Pittsburgh (KDKA)- While the Pitt offense had a shaky debut on Saturday, the same can't be said for running back Ray Graham.
The junior tailback was the best player on the field and was honored today by the Big East Conference.
Graham has been named the Big East Offensive Player of the Week for his performance in Pitt's 35-16 win over Buffalo.
Graham rushed for 201 yards and three touchdowns on 29 attempts. His rushing total was the second-best by a Bowl Subdivision player in Week 1 (Oregon State's Malcolm Agnew rushed for 223 yards in a loss to Sacramento State).
It was the second 200-yard game of Graham's career. Last season he rushed for 277 yards against Florida International, which ranks second in school history only to Tony Dorsett's 303-yard game against Notre Dame in 1975.
