Gradkowski: "We Had Our Chances" Against Raiders
PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) - After a tough loss to the Raiders in Oakland, Bruce Gradkowski talks about where the Steelers went wrong.
However, he notes that they went up against a team with great players.
"The have a good defense, they have a good team ... you can't overlook them," he said.
Still the Steelers had their chances, he says, even with Terrelle Pryor running wild.
"We had our chances, you know even though we played poorly in the first half," he said, "we had our chances in the second half."
Gradkowski says he takes losses hard, but once he watches the film, he tries to learn, grow and move on from it.
"The referees do a great job," he said, but added that they still absorb a great deal of criticism based on perception.
Rookie linebacker Jarvis Jones also joined the show and added some insight into his time with the Steelers.
As to whether he'll make it into the end zone this season, Jones says "I got to just keep chopping wood."
