Goodwill Making Halloween Shopping Easier With 'Look Book,' 'Costume Concierge'
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- There's 31 days until Halloween. Know what you're gonna be? What your kids are gonna be?
Well, if you need some ideas, your local Goodwill store is eager to help.
No one had to tell Chris Masucci that Goodwill's South Side store was the place to get a creative Halloween costume. She and her son, Larry, visit there every year around this time, and never know what they're going to find. But they always find something.
"One end of the room to the other end of the room, you will find what you need," says Masucci.
They have men's costumes, women's costumes, and children's costumes.
Some costumes are donated as-is, but maybe the most fun way to shop for Halloween at Goodwill is to mix and match stuff to create your custom costume.
If you need an idea, just consult the Look Book, which is new this year at every Goodwill store.
"The idea behind the Look Book is if you need help with costumes, there are nice costumes in here. There is also a checklist in the book to find all the pieces you need," says Andrew Marano, the assistant vice president of retail at Goodwill.

Returning this year at select Goodwill stores, because there's a whole lot of inventory to get through, is your own "costume concierge."
"The concierge will help, actually, do some shopping for you. So they will get out there, help you pick some costumes and navigate the store," says Marano.
