Garbage Truck Overturns On Parkway East Exit Ramp
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- The driver of a garbage truck suffered a minor injury this morning when the vehicle overturned on an exit ramp of the Parkway East.
State police say the accident happened on the exit ramp to Beechwood Boulevard on the inbound side of the Parkway East near the Squirrel Hill Tunnel.
According to state police, the driver was able to get out of the truck. He was taken to Mercy Hospital to be checked over and treated for that minor injury.
There is no word on what caused the crash.
Traffic was able to continue moving around the scene as crews cleared the accident.
