Furry Tails: Winston & Chloe Are Searching For Good Homes
Are you looking to bring a pet into your home? Local animal shelters are a great place to find a furry companion. So, as part of Furry Tails, I'll be doing an ongoing feature on adoptable pets from local animal shelters once a week. If you have room in your heart and are looking to bring a lovable ball of fur into your home, maybe one of these guys is meant to be a part of your family!

Chloe
Animal Friends
Chloe is an energetic and loving dog who can sometimes still be a bit shy. She needs a good home where she'll get lots of exercise and be able to give out lots of kisses.
Animal Friends Adoption Info:
"This perky-eared, brown-eyed beauty is looking for a loving home with experienced dog owners. When Chloe came to Animal Friends she was somewhat nervous and aloof, but she's relaxing and developing quite a personality with people she knows. Her favorite adoption counselor enjoys an exuberant greeting, complete with kisses!
"Fun and full of energy, athletic Chloe would love a good daily workout and may be the perfect jogging companion. This sweet lady has demonstrated that she is a good quiet time companion repeatedly, as she sits quietly and snuggles with a volunteer who reads to her in her room.
"Chloe has also gone on off-site group walks and enjoyed exploring the trails with volunteers and fellow canines. She was well-behaved in the car and walked well with other dogs. We have noticed that she still seems uncomfortable at times, and think she would do best as the only dog in your home. Chloe is not able to live with cats.
"Chloe's family should be patient and understanding while helping her become comfortable in her new home. As this gorgeous girl can be quite a handful, we recommend that she live in a home with children over 12.
"Someone believes in Chloe so much, they have sponsored her adoption! She is truly priceless."

Winston
Animal Rescue League
Winston is a sweet little guy who needs a loving home where he can cuddle and play. He's a bit shy, but once he warms up to you, he loves to snuggle.

"Looking for a cat who is cuddly AND playful? Then Winston is your guy! Winston is a 3-year old silky soft male who has been with ARL since July! He is a little shy to start but once he adjusts to a new home he is an incredibly loyal, loving and kind cat. He LOVES pets and cuddling with his people, and he'll take any opportunity to climb on your lap or on your chest for more snuggles. Winston likes to chase balls and play with almost any type of cat toy, plus he'll make his own toys out of scraps of papers, paper bags, etc.
"Winston has impeccable litter box habits and is always well groomed. He gets along great with other cats and will give them the play time or the space they need. Winston is allergic to flea medication so he needs to be an indoor only kitty in a home where any other indoor/outdoor animals are always on flea medication. He would do best in a home without very young children with lots of windows to look out, toys to play with and people to spoil him!"
